Now recommended by leading healthcare charities, VineHealth’s mobile app helps cancer patients track, manage and understand their medications, symptoms and lifestyle - allowing them to feel more in control of their treatments and corresponding side effects. With patients’ consent, the platform also collects large-scale data on how particular drugs affect quality of life, creating crucial evidence needed for the development of new treatments.

In 2021 the team won a £1m Innovate UK grant to deliver their app to four NHS trusts within a randomised controlled trial, proving the platform’s clinical and cost-effectiveness. VineHealth has also been awarded the highest worldwide rating for a holistic cancer app by ORCHA, the world’s leading independent health and care app evaluation organisation.

Avonmore invested into the company’s £1.2m pre-seed round in 2019 and again in 2021 in its $5.5M seed round led by Talis Capital. This was the first £1m+ pre-seed round for an all-female founding team from Entrepreneur First accelerator. Simon Blakey was an observer on their board.
